Pigeon blood ruby briolettes and rondell gemstones meticulously wrapped with 14/20 gold filled wire. This style of earring takes many hours to make, wire wrapped on wire. Pretty enough for special events, but sturdy enough for daily wear. Quality construction.
Notes on the gold fill; The gold is 1/20 14K gold. 14 = karats and the 20 refers to the % of gold in an item. 1/20 = 5% gold. The base metal is brass, which makes for a durable and warm mix. 14k Gold Fill has apx 100 times more gold than gold plate.
